Our original announcement
Nira People Search is now closed. The notice below was previously published for customers. For current questions about your account or data, contact Willow.
I'm writing to let you know that Nira People Search will shut down on October 11.
Nira People Search didn't reach the scale it needed to sustain itself as a product. The company is continuing in a different direction, but this product is winding down.
What this means for you
Access. The app and extension work as normal until October 11. After that they stop working.
Your data. I'm deleting all Nira People Search account data on October 11. If you want a copy of anything first, reply to this email before September 24 and I'll send it over. None of it goes anywhere else.
What to use instead. Happenstance is the closest fit for what most people used it for. LinkedIn search also works well now that it supports semantic search.
You were one of the people actually using this, which made it worth building. Reply to this email if you need anything before September 24 and I'll take care of it myself.
